Our EAA Chapter is currently restoring a Fairchild PT-19. We bought it as a basket case that had been in a barn for some 40+ years, after it had been wrecked. This restoration will require us to build a new wing center section, and restore all other components of the aircraft as well. Our airfield was a PT-19 training base during WW2, so we have a special interest in the type.

As we move forward with the restoration we will keep this site updated with photos of the restoration in process. Thanks for visiting.
